New light-colored brick contrasts with the brown brick of the original structure in a deliberate design statement that unifies past with present for this luxury single-family residence. The original project evolved from an addition to a full rebuild after inspections revealed foundation decay. The design doubles the home’s size and creates two new balconies and a roof deck to maximize outdoor enjoyment. Inside, an open, fluid layout allows its owners to relax with family in multiple spacious living and dining areas.
