The first Chicago location for this nationwide ice cream chain utilizes a mid-century building to create a new presence for a well-loved dessert brand. We helped the client create a comfortable customer and staff experience with a design that prioritizes brand identity, circulation, and operational efficiency. With the building in excellent condition, we preserved the charm of its 1950s-era features using modest architectural interventions that ensured code compliance and eliminated unnecessary renovation efforts. The result is a building that retains its character while serving the client’s needs.
