Chicago, Illinois

We transformed a rundown former restaurant into a modern, urban daycare space for children. Our design keeps classroom walls at a low height to allow light to reach every corner, as well as create clear sightlines across all spaces for staff. Color and accent elements identify and distinguish different classes and learning areas. A variety of tactile elements, such as exposed brick and soft burlap wall installations, create a mixed-sensory experience for children.
