ELIM ROMANIAN PENTECOSTAL CHURCH AND CHRISTIAN CENTER
Chicago, IL

Our design for this three-story church addresses the current and future needs of a growing congregation and community. The church’s goal was to create a new symbol of faith and community and expand functionality for their members and families. We implemented a design that unites the outward/public and the inward/spiritual functions of the church’s program in a seamless and dynamic modern form. A protected roof deck offers highly flexible outdoor space with passive solar strategies to allow comfortable and efficient use across seasons.
