CHICAGO SPORTS

Chicago, IL

After the Chicago Sports retail store on Michigan Avenue suffered fire damage in 2020, we worked with the client to revitalize and transform the building. Utilizing what the fire left behind, we created a more secure and shopper-friendly experience. Exposed brick walls, higher ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows create a larger, airier space with better circulation and sightlines. A relocated stairway draws shoppers up to a second retail floor that was previously difficult to find. A third-floor apartment with an open, loft-like layout provides additional space for staff meetings.
