A+C ARCHITECTS OFFICE
Skokie, IL

As a growing architectural practice, we were eager to create a vibrant, light-filled workspace for our staff. We renovated a small warehouse located on Main Street in the Village of Skokie within a corridor that is largely populated by mid-century-era buildings. Our design solution replaced the façade with ground-to-ceiling windows and punctured the roof to add height within the space, along with clerestory windows, bringing in multiple angles of daylight exposure. The interior is clean, minimal, and open; it also features a highly visible community art gallery space next to the design studio.
